It's funny I always make fake Madonna and Britney Spears Tours haha this one I started a year or so ago I have mixed a lot of the tracks! It’s how I am and I think you should simply repect that and deal with it. Yes, I’m a could have/should have person. 17 songs? Really, M? That tour could have totally profitted from two or three more Erotica tracks (Words, Thief of Hearts & Bad Girl instead of In this Life) and Rescue Me along with maybe one ir two unexpected classics like True Blue (as originally planned) and maybe Who’s That Girl instead of I’m Going Bananas. The Girlie Show had was way too short in terms of the set list. Those are two of the best songs from LAP and their omission is bugging me. I think Spanish Eyes and TDDUP should have been included in the setlist. That’s all I was talking about since this thread focuses on setlists. The band on BA and GS were amazing and I totally wish she’d go back to that. That's why True Blue and Body Shop are so much appreciated on RHT, because they feel live or very close to it (same goes with Open Your Heart on MDNAT and so on.)

People complain a lot about backing tracks, I don't mind when they're good but nothing compares to a full live band performance. She started using prerecorded backing tracks with DWT and since then all her shows have lost the "real live" touch they had before. And the Everybody finale is soooooooo funky, a quality she seems to have lost forever. They did a great job adapting some remixes (Erotica, Deeper and Deeper, Bye Bye Baby and also Justify My Love), and it's also the best live versions ever of Express Yourself, La Isla Bonita and Holiday.

Erotica (the album) is lo-fi and beats, and it was not something artists would be comfortable with doing live. As for the setlist, BAT was (almost) only hits, I don't see what you could expect.Ĭoncerning GS, I'm aware it's not a fan favorite, but I love it because it's the last M tour on which the band plays EVERY song live. BAT was a groundbreaking show on every level and a punch on MJ's face. BAT is not only an iconic tour and an essential part of her legacy, it was very edgy and innovative when it happened. I don't know how old you are, you probably haven't lived this era. "Take it 'cos I'll never be as perfect as you want" a wise woman once wrote.
